How it started
My entire life has been defined by an insatiable curiosity—a continuous loop of becoming interested in something then relentlessly working until I could unravel of the mystery of how it was done perfectly. I was captivated by the intricate workings of the world and everything within it. Whether it was people, objects, or processes, I had an unquenchable thirst to understand how they operated. It was always about the process for me.
My journey has taken me on what may seem to be a meandering path, but it’s all been part of making me who I am today. In school, I became fascinated with the boldness of the Wright Brothers, so I learned hang gliding and became an instructor, teaching students the art of soaring through the skies. I also read about Pavlov and was fascinated that there was a process that could teach such clear and meaningful communication with our furry friends, so I volunteered to apprentice with a dog trainer. I even took to obsessively watching some obscure british cooking shows and was so impressed by how the chefs could just know how to start with a pile of raw ingredients and end up with a culinary masterpiece in just 30 mins, so I begged for a job as a dishwasher at a highend restaurant, so I could be near the chefs and watch them in their element—determined to grasp the culinary artistry, to decipher the alchemy of flavors, and to comprehend how masterful dishes were created. It was another step in my lifelong pursuit of understanding and transitioning that knowlege into something that felt meaningful, profound, and fun!
Hey that’s great, but why are you telling me all this?
For me there was always 1 constant — a love for communicating through creative. But unlike some of my friends who were determined to be artists, writers, photographers, coders, or even musicians, through my diverse experiences, I came to realize that my passion was not confined to a single field; it was rooted in the search to use any tools at my disposal to produce creative that connects with people, feels meaningful, and helps illuminate hidden stories. My true passion is creative, in whatever form that takes. And so, I’ve been fortunate enough to have a careeer that has harnessed my passion and I’ve been able to produce creative works that captivate, inspire, and enlighten. It’s taken me around the world while working with some of the best and brightest people and the most ambitious brands. Whether through animation, storytelling, or any other medium, the best way for me to utilize my passion has always been to become a creator, crafting narratives that would resonate, inspire, and leave a lasting impression on those who experienced them.
